Meet Dimitri Palilis Au.D.

Dimitri Palilis received his doctorate degree (Au.D.) from RUSH University and has been a practicing audiologist for nearly 20 years,  He is a licensed dispensing Audiologist and the practice owner of Creative Hearing Solutions.  He has focused on eliminating hearing loss as a function of noise exposure through early detection and improved hearing protection and lives by the philosophy, “if a provider isn’t trying to eradicate the disease process they serve, they aren’t doing their job.”

Dr. Palilis’ goal is to help those with hearing loss become more a part of their hearing world…to not miss those words shared by grandchildren…to hear concerts with improved sound quality…to be a part of conversations with family and friends…to no longer be isolated from others because of  hearing impairment.

Throughout his career, Dr Palilis has worked in a variety of capacities including research, clinical, occupational medicine and most recently, as a medical legal expert witness. He has worked in multiple settings including diagnostic head and neck medical offices, hearing aid dispensing, pediatric, craniofacial and vestibular clinics. He has participated in a variety of research topics including custom earmold acoustics, military and law enforcement-based hearing protection, advanced diagnostic clinical topics, as well as hearing aid specific research. In addition, he has worked with thousands of veterans and workers compensation cases, resulting in successful outcomes for those involved.  His love of animals has lead him to currently be enrolled in a post-doctorate program focusing on mammalian bioacoustics.
